Sentences to describe summer

I have learnt new words to describe summer and these words can help me in my writing.
1.The blistering sun made me get sun burnt.
2.The boiling heat made me feel like a hot pot.
3.I was sizzling like a BBQ with summer heat.
4.The blazing sun made me unconscious.
5.The sweltering heat turned me into a roasted marshmallow.
